Job Description We seek a versatile “can-do” desktop/server/network support and installation specialist to support our Clients\' technology needs. We are the \"Friendly, Proactive, Worry-Free IT Company\" so smiles are not optional! :-)


Our Company is a Microsoft Small Business Specialist and Partner serving small-to-medium business Clients, providing network support and business technology integration solutions centered on MS-Windows 2003 Small Business Servers, delivering help-desk, managed security, managed IT services and system maintenance solutions. Experience in real world desktop/network support delivery is mandatory. Current Microsoft certifications or the willingness and ability to achieve at least one certification in the next 90-120 days is a MUST.

The job requirements are as follows:



  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 Installation, Configuration and Support

  • Symantec Anti-Virus (Versions 10 and 11 preferred, including installation configuration and reporting server administration

  • Windows XP Professional and Vista Business support skills

  • Understand MX records, A records and DNS settings

  • AutoTask, Connectwise, Level Platforms, Kaseya, N-Able or other managed services monitoring and ticketing software experience a plus.

  • CentOS 4 Linux & cPanel experience a plus.

  • Prefer experience with MS Exchange, Recipient Policies, Outlook OWA and RPC

  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office products, including ACCESS applications a plus

  • Good people skills

  • Professional appearance for on-site visits to customers

  • Reliable transportation, a drivers license and current auto insurance are required.

Primary Duties include:

  • Telephone and On-Site support of customer desktop, website and network issues

  • Internal desktop, network and server maintenance

  • Customer network installation, configuration and maintenance

  • Backup administration


Web server maintenance and configuration Secondary Duties include:



  • Participate as technical liaison in client meetings

  • Support our internal network, users and processes

  • Contribute to strategic direction of our company
