Near Real-Time Backups: Our “Incremental Forever” methodology captures and backs-up image changes in 15-minute increments, allowing end users to reconstruct data to any backup point.

On-site Virtual Server: This technology allows restoration of data and applications, typically in less than 30 minutes, should your primary server fail. Hardware replacement parts can take several days to arrive from hardware vendors, but your BDR solution can have your business back up and running within minutes. The BDR Server multitasks so that, while functioning as a virtual server running your business, it continually backs-up your data changes. Our technology allows you to remain in business without significant loss of data or server and application functionality.

A Complete Image: We generate an image of all hard drive partitions stored on the BDR server at your location. We employ a block-level, rather than file level, backup which means that data is captured at the level of 1’s and 0’s without having to worry about "locked files". Block level data is raw data which does not have a file structure imposed on it and is both the most efficient way to write to disk and is much less prone to errors than file-level backups.

Intuitive and Flexible Restoration: A good backup system should allow for quick and flexible restores. Our solution allows for recovery of files, folders, partitions, mailboxes/messages and databases/tables using a quick and intuitive process.

Secure Remote Storage:  To ensure complete protection of your data, we use the 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm which is considered the gold standard of encryption techniques. After each day’s backup, the BDR Solution creates an independent 256-bit encrypted tunnel and transmits the imaged data to a secure offsite location where it resides in an encrypted, compressed format. That remote site then replicates again to an alternate data center, creating a total of three copies of the data in three geographically distinct regions.

Secure, Bandwidth Throttling Transfer: Transmission of your off-site data occurs over your existing Internet connection. Transmission can easily be configured to minimize bandwidth consumption leveraging adaptive bandwidth throttling, using only your 'unused' bandwidth or by setting a fixed outbound bandwidth limit.

24x7 Completely Managed Solution:  Our Network Operations Center monitors the BDR Solution and the attached servers 24/7. Failed processes generate immediate alerts to our engineers, who often correct errors remotely within minutes of receiving notification. In case of more serious issues, we will conduct repairs at your site. If the BDR Server(s) are irreparably damaged or destroyed in a fire, flood or disaster, we will overnight ship replacements for a nominal fee directly to your alternate location - pre-loaded with all stored data to facilitated immediate virtualization of your server environment.
